Robyn’s backward somersault/floor hump (while wearing platform Timbs!) is one of several highlights from her performance of “Call Your Girlfriend” on last night’s “SNL”.
I love her.
im always skeptical of performances on shows like this (sometimes they make people lip sync because thats “what you do”) but this is super legit. im also glad theyre including artists like Robyn on their show. the backing tracks are interesting too but all of the woo’s prove that she’s actually singing - unlike many of her supposedly contemporaries.
that tumble was the best! robyn is always amazing and this performance just adds to the reasons why i love her so much. girl always brings her A game! the vocoder (on dancing on my own), keyboards, drums, and even the keyboard solo are all done right there on the stage.
Robyn you’re the fucking best.
